Recreation - JAY-Z The Blueprint 25th Anniversary Yankees Varsity Wool Leather Jacket
This varsity jacket takes inspiration from JAY-Z’s “The Blueprint 25” anniversary release, and utilizes a navy wool body, while real leather sleeves provide a vintage letterman look. The front of the jacket uses chenille to add the NY Yankees logo, and adds “HEART OF THE CITY”, while the top of the sleeve features an American flag, and alongside it is a tour joumey medley of the album. The bottom edge of the sleeve, as well as the collars and cuffs, add to the vintage look with a striped, ribbed edge. To finish off the edging, the front of the jacket utilizes a row of snaps.
The back of the jacket, for a second time, boldly adds “THE BLUEPRINT” to a chenille “25” in the center. Edging the patch is a blue-line, “blueprint” style stitching, and adds subtle, rhombus shapes for dimension. The arm of the jacket adds a champagne JAY-Z logo, and adds a reference to the album with a stamped, vintage champagne logo. The jacket is quite heavy, and is meant to be worn as an outer layer.
