The movie, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, shows an up close and personal look at Haymitch Abernathy’s iconic jacket. Haymitch’s jacket reflects the lived in look of many of the jacket’s worn by the inhabitants of District 12. One of the reasons District 12’s clothes look worn out, is because they are, but also because the clothes of District 12 are not fashioned after the fine fabrics of the Capitol; they are fabrics that are functional and can withstand thetest of time.
The fabric of the jacket is, also, functional and can be transformed to a worn state relatively easily. The fabric is of a high quality and can take the shape of many different articles of clothing. It is fitted to have Haymitch’s signature casual look.
The distinct character of the jacket makes it a great piece to have in a collection of clothing based on the Hunger Games films, and a good addition to one’s everyday collection of clothes.
