This is one of the best jackets that define the term "aviator. This is a Brown Leather Bomber Jacket that is a recreation of the jacket that Tom Cruise wore as Pete "Maverick" Mitchell in the movie Top Gun. Has soft shearling collar, front zipper, and ribbed cuffs and waistband to keep the fit snug. Two pockets on the front with buttons, this is very functional and is in the shape of a classic flight jacket.
The patchwork is the key to what makes it. There are displays of the Seabees patch, the USS William H. Standley badge, a Texas Dallas flag patch and much more on the front and sleeves. At the back is the big Far East Cruise 63-4 USS Galveston panel with the American flag as well as the COMCRUDESFLT 9 badge and other squadron patches. Each one of them adds that “Navy” look of being worn-in and seasoned.
