For a baseball-inspired twist on a worn-in look, Carhartt has you covered. This particular jacket is a cotton duck canvas cropped jacket, modeled after traditional Carhartt designs. The jacket features a corduroy collar and cuffs, along with a zip front. The hem of the jacket is finished with a snap. For a modern fit, the design of the jacket has been cropped and Boxy. The modern fit retains the design elements that make a traditional jacket have character.
For this particular design, the primary focal point is the embroidery. The left chest of the jacket features the New York Yankees logo in an arch with contrast stitching. For the gold version of the design the contrast stitching is tan. The design elements, along with a pair of zippered pockets, create a modern take on a traditional work jacket. The design elements encourage the fabric to wear and soften; therefore, the more it is worn the better the design element becomes.
